Escape the Winter. Keep the Hours.

Join us for a southern California chanted pilgrimage!

January 12, 2027 - January 18, 2027

Begin 2027 where California's missions began.

Join Paul Rose and fellow pilgrims for five full days of a fully guided, sung pilgrimage through Southern California from Mission San Diego de Alcalá, the first of the California missions, north along the coast and ending at the San Fernando Rey Mission in Los Angeles.

Along the way, you’ll pray all seven offices of the Liturgy of the Hours each day, participate in daily Mass, and visit historic California missions, shrines, and Cathedrals. You’ll also enjoy the beauty of California through wine tasting and coastal travel.

The package includes nightly hotel stays, daily transportation, two meals per day, a wine tasting, and other activities. Airfare is not included. We recommend flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN) and out of Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Packages starting at
$4,750.00 through

Space is limited to preserve an intimate retreat atmosphere.

Let January be Golden

A 5-day pilgrimage winding up the California coast, starting in San Diego and ending in Los Angeles

Let the Liturgy of the Hours shape your winter days and guide your new year.

Pray, sing, participate in the Sacraments, travel in a private coach, rest in hand-selected hotels, and share unhurried meals and local wine in the golden light of a Southern California January.

When the rest of the country is buried in winter,
come sing the Hours where the missions began.

See What Past Pilgrims Had to Say

"Thanks to this pilgrimage, I now appreciate why the divine office has “pride of place” in our praise life right behind the Mass. I will no longer worry about whether I am truly offering right praise to God. Wonderful people and a spiritually rewarding experience. Well done, all and thank you."
